Mitya Savelau is an international campaigner and storyteller. Currently he serves as an Executive Director for Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia at Change.org - the world's largest platform for social change. Change.org unites over 250 million users worldwide, who collaborate daily to advance causes important to them. 7 years ago Mitya set up a Russian branch of Change.org, which today empowers over 16 million people in the region. Originally from Belarus, Mitya studied international relations at Free University Amsterdam as well as sustainability in business at Cambridge University, where he carried out research on sustainability practice in fashion industry. He writes for Dazed and Confused and the Independent. In 2018 he launched Change Live media project creating a platform for conversations around social impact in Russia and beyond.
