Sergey Anokhin was appointed CEO of PJSC VimpelCom on September 2, 2024. Under his leadership, the company adopted a new strategy focused on rapid and sustainable growth through technological advancement and improved customer experience. In 2025, Beeline delivered strong revenue and EBITDA growth, significantly increased network investment, and strengthened its positions in cloud services, AI solutions, and cybersecurity.
Anokhin has significant experience in the telecom industry. Starting in 2017, he worked at PJSC Rostelecom, initially overseeing strategy, innovation, and M&A. He later became Senior Vice President and then First Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. His responsibilities included strategic development, customer-centric transformation, finance, investment, and procurement.
Earlier in his career, he worked in high-tech and banking. He began at the IT company SAS, then held senior roles at VTB24 and VTB Bank. From 2015 to 2016, he headed the planning and economic department of Bank of Moscow during its integration into the VTB Group.
