Nikolai Bulatov graduated with honors from the Physics Department of Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2009.
In 2012, he defended his PhD thesis in theoretical physics.
From 2012 to 2014, he was engaged in scientific and entrepreneurial activities.
From 2014 to 2018, he was responsible for forming a mentoring community and developing demand for innovation in the Moscow Government.
In 2018, he joined the Skolkovo Foundation and was responsible for developing a portfolio of urban technology projects.
In 2022, he became head of the industrial division at the Skolkovo Foundation. He implements projects with major industrial partners, including those in the metallurgy, chemical, and oil and gas sectors. He is the head of GreenTech Sustainable Development, Russia’s largest program for developing high-tech solutions for industry.
