Biography

Born in 1961. After graduating from the Moscow Institute of Foreign Languages, he worked for almost ten years at ITAR-TASS. Six of those years were spent in Latin America, where he headed the agency’s Panama bureau. He covered events in the Central American isthmus and the Caribbean.

From 1995 to 2000, he served as Director of the External Relations Department at Coca-Cola Eurasia.

After serving as Vice President of Strategic Communications at TNK, he was involved in major sports projects for many years. These included Moscow’s bid for the 2010 and 2012 Youth and Summer Olympic Games, Sochi’s bid for the 2014 Winter Olympics, and Russia’s bid to host the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

He was a member of the Executive Committee of the Russian Football Union and served as General Manager of the Russian national team. He has received numerous professional awards in journalism, PR, and marketing.

Since 2011, he has served as Director of the Skolkovo Foundation, Head of the Department of External Communications and Advertising, and Press Secretary.

Since June 2012, he has served as Vice President of External Communications and Advertising at the Skolkovo Foundation. Since June 2015, he has served as Senior Vice President of External Communications and Advertising at the Skolkovo Foundation.
