Biography

He was born in 1961.
After graduating from the Moscow Institute of Foreign Languages, he worked for ITAR-TASS for almost ten years. Of these, he spent six years in Latin America, where he headed the agency’s Panama office. He covered the events taking place in the countries of the Central American Isthmus and the Caribbean. From 1995 to 2000, he worked as Director of the External Relations Department of Coca-Cola Eurasia.
After working as Vice President for Strategic Communications at TNK, he participated in major sports projects for many years. Among them: Moscow’s nomination for the Youth and Summer Olympic Games in 2010 and 2012, Sochi’s nomination for the Winter Olympic Games (Sochi 2014), Russia’s nomination for the right to host the 2018 FIFA World Cup, and the University Sports Festival in Yekaterinburg in 2023.
He was a member of the executive committee of the Russian Football Union, worked as the general manager of the Russian national team. He has repeatedly received professional awards in the field of journalism, PR and marketing. Since June 2015, he has been Senior Vice President of the Skolkovo Foundation.
