Olga Zaborskaya is the Head of the Department of Industries and Project Competencies at “SKOLCA” school , a biotechnologist, educator-researcher and methodologist in engineering and technological education. She leads the Bioeducation startup (Technobiolab LLC) and is a winner of the “UMNIK” and Student Startup grant programs.
Since 2017, she has developed the National Technology Olympiad track “Engineering Biological Systems” (RSOSH Level II), serves on the NTO Expert and Methodological Council Presidium, and leads the “Technologies and Habitat” direction for NTO Junior. She is the author of the textbooks Technology. Grades 7–8. Plant and Animal Production and a line of specialized materials for agricultural classes, as well as a developer of tasks for national school Olympiads.
A former lecturer at Moscow Polytechnic University, she is a speaker at MMCO fair, VDELE conference, Archipelago and multiple initiatives promoting technological education. She implements school technology projects, including the student-designed SKOLCA FRESH lemonade. Her research covers science education, biotechnology and urban farming.
