A seventh-generation doctor, he received a diploma from the State Medical Academy in 1992. Kirov was born in Nizhny Novgorod, and five years later he graduated with honors from the Economics Department of the State University named after Lobachevsky, having successfully completed his studies in Russia and the USA under a joint MBA program with Taylor University.
He has more than 20 years of experience in senior management positions, including 15 years as CEO in branches of international corporations. Specialization

From 2013 to 2017, he served as Executive Director of the Skolkovo Foundation’s Cluster of Biological and Medical Technologies
. From 2017 to 2024, he served as Senior Vice President for Innovation at the Skolkovo Foundation, and from 2024 to the present, he has been Deputy Chairman of the Board for priority areas of technological development.
