Director. Kosme, the Korean Agency for the Support of Small, Medium-sized Businesses and Start–ups, is a leading organization for the support of small and medium-sized enterprises, established in 1979 under the Korean law on the development of small and medium-sized businesses.

The staff consists of about 1,500 people. The Agency has 27 representative offices abroad, 32 regional representative offices, 17 schools for young entrepreneurs, and 6 training centers (including a Moscow office founded in 2006). The organization’s budget is $10 billion, with annual funding of $5.5 billion. The organization provides Korean companies with services such as export marketing, personnel training, promotes promotion to the international market and the creation of new jobs.
