Ivan Dmitrievich Matveev First Deputy General Director of Ingosstrakh Ivan Dmitrievich Matveev was born on August 6, 1979, in Moscow. He holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Management from the Higher School of Economics (Moscow, Russia) and an MBA from the European Business School (Munich, Germany). He started his career in 2000 at RAO UES of Russia, where he held various senior management positions related to the reform of Russia’s electric power industry.He later served as Chief Executive Officer of INDEC (Internet Development Center) for three years.
In January 2011, he joined UniCredit Bank as Director of the Organizational Department and was subsequently appointed Director of the Retail Sales Department. On September 23, 2015, he became a member of the Management Board of UniCredit Bank and headed the bank’s retail division. He left the bank on April 30, 2019. In November 2019, he was appointed First Deputy General Director of Ingosstrakh - one of the leading Russian insurance company, where he is responsible for the development of IT and online technologies, enhancement of innovation initiatives, and the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) in the company’s business processes.
