Ivan Kalinov is the CEO of Yandex Robotics, a technology entrepreneur, and an expert in autonomous systems. A graduate of MIPT and Skoltech (PhD, 2020), he began his career in robotics in 2014 by developing a swarm of unmanned drones. He later founded a startup focused on warehouse inventory drones, backed by the Foundation for Innovation and Skolkovo. Since 2021, he has led Yandex’s robotics division, growing the team from a handful of specialists to over 200 engineers. Ivan is dedicated to creating commercially viable solutions that advance robotics into a mainstream industry for warehouses and enterprises.
