Avito’s Ekaterina Nemchenko has been with the company since 2023. She built Avito’s financial planning and analysis function from the ground up.

Effective October 1, 2025, she was appointed Managing Director for People Operations at Avito (Chief People Officer, CPeO) and joined the company’s management board. In this role, Ekaterina is responsible for implementing the previously adopted HR strategy aimed at further increasing HR automation, scaling talent development programs, and supporting and strengthening the company culture.

In addition to her experience at Avito, Ekaterina has more than 20 years of business experience, including extensive work in the food industry (dairy production, juice and juice-based beverage manufacturing). She has held more than 10 different functional roles and has experience serving on crisis management committees.

She also holds an additional coaching specialization certified to International Coaching Federation (ICF) standards and has worked for more than 10 years as an internal trainer and facilitator.

Ekaterina teaches her own course, “Finance for FoodTech,” at ITMO University and also teaches students in the product management master’s programs run jointly by Avito and the Higher School of Business HSE University.
