Biography

Ekaterina Lapshina is a global investor, entrepreneur and philanthropist. She is the Founder and CEO of ERA Capital, co-founder of Okko online cinema and co-founder of R1. She has over 15 years of experience in asset development within the media, telecommunications, technology, and financial industries, holding CEO positions.

  • 2004–2010 – Business consultant at Ernst & Young, Energoprom and Adela.
  • 2010–2015 – Director of media and telecom business development for a large holding in Eastern Europe, with over 15 assets under management.
  • 2015–2017 – CEO of Marsfield Capital.
  • 2017–present – Founder and CEO of Era Capital. Her portfolio includes assets such as Okko, BestDoctor, Palta, R1, Rubetek and others.
  • 2020–2021 – Vice President for Mass Market Work, ER-Telecom Holding.
  • 2021–2022 – General Director, Akado.

She is a member of the board of M.Video, Like and other companies.

Ekaterina is a graduate of INSEAD Business School and THNK School. She is a Certified Financial Manager (CMA, USA).

She provides patronage to cultural institutions such as The Garage Museum of Contemporary Art and The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts.
