Darius Khalitov— Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board of Rostelecom, is an IT leader with unique expertise in IT, digital and AI transformation, project management and software import substitution. He worked his way up from the project manager to the top manager of Rostelecom PJSC.

Darius’s career path includes work at the Neoflex company, as well as at the Otkritie Bank. In 2017, he joined Rostelecom. Currently, Darius Khalitov oversees the IT unit, including responsibility for implementing the strategy of digital transformation and artificial intelligence development at Rostelecom Group, as well as import substitution processes. To date, the company has replaced more than 200 processes with robots, and more than 100 internal and client services operate on the basis of AI technologies. Under the leadership of Darius, the company is systematically developing the IT landscape, as well as implementing tasks to achieve technological independence and transition to domestic software. Darius has made a significant contribution to the transformation of Rostelecom from a telecom operator into an innovative digital organization.

Among other things, Darius Khalitov is the Deputy Chairman of the Association of the largest consumers of software (AKPPO), a member of the Supervisory Board of the NGO «Open Source», as well as a member of the working group "Open Software and Microelectronics at the ANO «Digital Economy».
