Biography

Danya Kraster (real name — Danila Sergeyevich Klenin) is a Russian video blogger, inventor, and TV presenter, born on October 6, 1990, in the city of Korolyov. From an early age, he was passionate about technical creativity: by the age of five, he was hammering nails, and in his teenage years, he built crossbows and tried to assemble a car, inspired by television shows.

After finishing school, he enrolled at the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering but was expelled after his second year. He later re-enrolled in the part-time program while working as a low-voltage installer, courier, and marketing designer. These jobs gave him practical experience, which he would later apply in his projects.

Kraster began his career on YouTube by creating the channel SuperCrastan, where he posted DIY-themed videos. His first video featured a fire show he staged with friends in a park. Over time, his channel gained popularity thanks to his original and educational videos, in which he demonstrated how to make various items by hand.

In 2019, Kraster received the “Best DIY Blogger” award in the “Handmade” category. Since 2020, he has been the host of the show Galileo on the STS TV channel and also led the program Experiments. In 2023, he appeared on the TV version of KlikKlak Show and became one of the hosts of the science-education project Mad Inventions on the VK Video platform.
