Dialogue on Technological Demand: Startup Village 2026 Begins at Skolkovo

In 2024-2025, the total revenue of Skolkovo residents exceeded 1.49 trillion rubles, the volume of extra-budgetary investments amounted to 118 billion rubles, and the number of patents exceeded 2,000. This is no longer a story about individual startups; it is a well-established technological market. Therefore, Startup Village is changing its model this year: we are moving away from the “project showcase” format to a platform for direct technological orders, where corporations come with specific demands, and technology companies come with ready-made solutions for implementation and scaling. I also want to introduce some of the best projects in our ecosystem that have shown significant growth in recent times — companies that have already established themselves as full-fledged market players,” said Alexey Parshikov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Skolkovo Foundation (VEB.RF Group). Among the leaders in revenue growth are the Center for the Development of Additive Production

(CRPP), the manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries Belmy, the developer and integrator of IT solutions for the industrial and public sectors Fogstream, the innovative biotechnology company Gordiz, the developer of digital twins and computer simulators for the oil and gas industry RTSIM, and the biotech studio Scanderm. In their presentations, the developers focused on the key factors that contributed to the rapid growth of their businesses. According to Maxim Karpeev, Director for Development at CRPP, the company has received 45 patents and completed more than 50 major research and development projects for specialized organizations and oil and gas companies. Skolkovo has provided significant assistance to the company in promoting its products to industry customers, and the developer has also received a mini-grant worth over 8 million rubles. Andrey Kupfer, CEO of Fogstream, spoke about the company’s innovative firefighting systems, which help to conserve resources, including water. Sergey Leonov, CEO of Gordiz, provided a detailed overview of the company’s production of a T-system for the identification of human and animal biomaterials. The company has successfully commercialized several products, and many of them remain domestic developments that are not available to major foreign manufacturers and vendors. The development has received financial support from Skolkovo, totaling over 5 million rubles.

According to Evgeny Sobolev, co-founder and CEO of Scanderm, the company has developed AI-based rapid analysis services that can be used in medicine and cosmetology. According to him, Scanderm is the only Russian company that has won the South Korean Startup Landing Competition, which is the largest in Asia. He also announced the development of a service for testing the effectiveness of cosmetic products and ingredients. Konstantin Churkin, CEO of Belmy, revealed the secret to the company’s success.
«The company started with small batteries that were in everyone’s phones and various toys 10 years ago. Today, the toys have grown into cars, buses, and energy storage systems. The only way to create an alternative to China was through a partnership with Skolkovo. Skolkovo provided us with unique tax benefits, and we achieved quality through our engineers,» explained Konstantin Churkin. According to Airat Mukhametzyanov, CEO of RTSIM, the company is a leader in the development of computer-based dynamic simulators and is a partner of more than 120 universities and secondary schools that train specialists in the fields of oil and gas processing and energy. They organize large-scale championships between oil and gas company operators and students in Russia and 19 other countries. The two-day technology festival will continue with approximately 100 business sessions, the Startup Bazaar exhibition, offline negotiations, private meetings and presentations, the Main Pitch competition, and a large cultural program.
