At Startup Village in Skolkovo, you can get tested for cancer risks for free

In 2025, the Sk Capital investment platform (VEB.RF Group) invested 10 billion rubles in Softline and Saberus, the leaders of the Russian information security marketby the Foundation at the Point of Care clinic. All interested parties will be able to participate in the free study conducted at the Skolkovo Technopark, and after the completion of the Startup Village, until the end of 2026.

The innovative CA-62 test is the first systemic marker for early cancer detection, capable of identifying hidden signs of potential disease long before the onset of clinical symptoms. CA-62 does not react to a specific organ tumor, but to a general biological sign of early tumor transformation — the appearance of cells that begin to lose their normal properties and behave like tumor cells, helping a person to identify the risk of cancer in time.

Key advantages of the technology:

The new class of test reacts to the growth of the number of cells with low differentiation, rather than on a specific organ.

High accuracy: the sensitivity of the method at early stages is 90-95%, specificity — about 95%.

The test is officially registered in the Russian Federation as a medical device (RZN 2020/9880).
The test is based on a simple blood test from a vein, and the result is available within 5-8 business days.

The accuracy of a negative result is 99.9%.

The accuracy of a positive result is 20-30%.

Cherkasova Zhanneta, CEO and co-founder of Javis Diagnostics LLC: «Skolkovo grants in the amount of more than 40 million rubles, as well as private investments, have given our team the opportunity to accelerate the process from development to registration and clinical practice. Thanks to the support of the foundation, we have successfully overcome regulatory barriers and introduced a technology that is changing the standards for early cancer diagnosis in Russia and around the world. A simple blood test allows you to identify a high-risk group for cancer, so that you can target the people who need help.»

Research conditions:

Cost. Free of charge as part of the Skolkovo grant (the regular price is 6,500 RUB).

Where to go. Point of Care Clinic, Skolkovo Technopark, Bolshoy Boulevard, 42, Building 1.

Who can participate. Persons over 18 years of age, strictly by appointment, who do not have contraindications (see information at the link).

Format. Blood serum sampling.

The turnaround time of the result. 5-8 working days.

Scientific basis. CA‑62 technology is based on the detection of a universal epitope of glycoproteins expressed on the surface of undifferentiated stem and tumor cells. This allows for the detection of potential risks at early stages, when traditional diagnostic methods are often powerless.

Registration certificate of Roszdravnadzor No. 2020/9880.

Official website: ca-62.ru.

The test result is not a diagnosis and requires further consultation with a doctor.

Startup Village 2026 will be held on May 28–29 at the Skolkovo Technology Park. The technology festival is organized by the Skolkovo Foundation, co-organized by the Moscow Government and VEB.RF. The event will be held as part of the Moscow Entrepreneurship Week. Participation is free upon prior accreditation. Registration is open on the website startupvillage.ru.

VEB.RF actively supports technology companies, helping them at all stages of development: from idea to launching a finished product on foreign markets. The volume of innovative projects supported by the VEB Group exceeded 450 billion rubles in the previous strategic cycle from 2021 to 2024. In VEB’s new cycle until 2030, technological leadership is one of the five key priorities. As a result, Russia should have at least 5 of its own lines for the development of rehabilitation equipment, medicines and vaccines, robotics, and other high-tech products, as well as at least 7 technological holdings and 750 new industrial production facilities, which will collectively create almost 50,000 new jobs.

A separate focus of the Group’s work is to support technological cooperation. In 2025, the Sk Capital investment platform (VEB.RF Group) invested 10 billion rubles in Softline and Saberus, the leaders of the Russian information security market.
