At the AIRI Institute, Ivan leads a research team of over 200 scientists and is also the Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence at Moscow State University. He has authored over 200 articles in leading international and Russian journals. He has supervised 20 PhD candidates and serves on the editorial boards of international journals and conferences. He is a laureate of the Russian Presidential Prize in Science and Innovation for Young Scientists, the SIAM Outstanding Paper Prize, the Segalovich Prize, and the Humboldt Foundation Scientific Prize.
