Alexander was born in Moscow. In 2007, he graduated with a master’s degree from the State University — Higher School of Economics (HSE).

He began his career in 2007 as a Senior Investment Manager at Alfa Capital Partners. In 2010, he joined AFI Development PLC as Director of Investor Relations.

From 2013, he worked at a subsidiary of the Skolkovo Foundation as Director of the Investment Division. Since January 2018, he has held the position of Deputy Chairman for Investments and Real Estate Asset Management at the Skolkovo Foundation.

His responsibilities include attracting external investments for real estate construction projects within the Skolkovo Innovation Center and improving the investment attractiveness of the territory.
